Porsche is elevating the ownership experience of the Cayenne Electric with a host of new features designed for personalization and convenience. This latest update introduces advancements in technology, charging solutions, interior enhancements, and an impressive range of exterior color choices, catering to consumers looking for a bespoke electric luxury SUV.
Electrically Assisted Doors for Enhanced Convenience
A standout feature in the new Cayenne Electric is its electrically assisted doors, which introduce a new level of ease for passengers. With the simple pull of the door handle, servo motors take over, allowing the door to open or close automatically with minimal effort. Furthermore, drivers can also control the doors via buttons located inside the cabin, the door handles, or the Flow Display within the Porsche Communication Management (PCM).
The functionality extends to safety measures, with sensors that monitor the surrounding area to halt door movement when people or obstacles are detected. Additionally, the system can close the driver's side door automatically when the driver buckles their seatbelt or engages the brake pedal, making entry and exit a seamless process.
Introducing Porsche Wireless Charging
Porsche's new wireless charging technology enhances the convenience of home charging for the Cayenne Electric. Instead of dealing with physical cables, owners can park the vehicle over a ground pad that automatically initiates the charging process. This setup comprises a vehicle pad and a weatherproof ground pad, allowing for installation both indoors and outdoors.
Charging efficiency boasts a solid output of up to 11 kW, with around 90 percent efficiency. This system incorporates safety features like motion sensors to interrupt charging if animals or unwanted objects approach the vehicle or charging pad, ensuring a safe and reliable charging environment. Currently, Porsche Wireless Charging is available for order in Germany and select European markets, with more regions set to receive it in the future.
Enhanced Comfort with Massage and 4D Audio
Porsche has placed a strong emphasis on comfort for its Cayenne Electric. New options include a massage function featuring 4D audio technology, designed to enhance the experience for both driver and front passenger. Each seat comes equipped with 16 air cushions and six sound actuators, providing five different massage programs that allow users to adjust vibration intensity to their liking.
This unique system can be controlled through the central display while also functioning independently. To elevate the overall ambiance, Porsche has introduced three Wellness Mood Modes that combine pneumatic massage, seat vibrations, and carefully curated audio experiences.
Personalization with Extensive Color Options
The Cayenne Electric now offers an expansive palette of color options, joining the Paint to Sample program from Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur. This inclusion allows customers to select from an astonishing 105 exterior paint choices, augmenting the existing standard colors. The updated aesthetic encompasses categories like Contrasts, Shades, Dreams, and Legends, ensuring that buyers who desire a distinct electric SUV can achieve their vision.
Expanded Interior Customization
In addition to exterior choices, Porsche has also refined its interior customization offerings. The new Interior Style Package, crafted through the collaboration of Style Porsche and Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, pairs black materials with exclusive green highlights for a unique cabin aesthetic. For the upcoming model year, an Extended Package Interior Style enhances this by adding more luxurious leather trims and distinctive decorative stitching in Delgada Green.
Further options like leather/Race-Tex covered seat consoles and contrasting decorative stitching on Race-Tex-covered sill panels provide additional avenues for personalization, particularly appealing to customers focusing on the upper echelons of the Cayenne Electric options menu.
